The Institut Of Marine Sciences Of Andalusia (ICMAN-CSIC) belonging for the Spanish National Research Council involve a compact nucleus of reference for marine research. 

Within TECNOHABs project, Dr. Ignacio Moreno-Garrido help to maintain harmful phytoplankton cultures. 

Additionally, in ordert to addressed the effects of UV-based processes on different phytoplanktonic species, specific experimentation have been carried out at ICMAN facilities.
